After a hiking incident that severely injured my left foot, I arrived at the Emergency Room. After the x-rays, the ER doctor and a friend, who himself is an orthopedic surgeon both highly recommended Dr. Leon Reber as the best foot trauma doctor. That first meeting with Dr. Reber at the Emergency Room set a exceptionally positive tone for the surgeries and recovery process. Leon, not only has the technical knowledge, experience and skills, but also a genuine interest in you as a patient. He is professional and very importantly, he listens to you. His smile is contagious and if you have a positive attitude Leon can provide the skills to help assure a successful result.

To Dr. Leon Reber,
Thank you very much for the excellent treatment I received when I was admitted to the Dixie Regional Medical Center for 5 days in May 2008 whilst on vacation from the U.K. I’m pleased to say that I have made a complete recovery from the swollen and infected right foot and leg due, I’m sure, to the quick and professional treatment yourself and your staff administered. Thank you once again.

This doctor was friendly, knowledgable, helpful and on time. He took the time to listen, find the problem and correct. I visited several doctors before and they did not find the root problem. I am much better today.

My experience with Dr. Leon Reber was phenomenal! He listened attentively to what I wished for the end-result of my surgery. I had little or no pain after the foot procedures and he carefully monitored my aftercare. I can totally recommend him!

While hiking last spring I came off a cliff and landed very poorly. My ankle was broken in three places and my foot was dislocated. Fortunately I was quickly transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center and was referred by a friend to Dr. Leon Reber. Within four hours I was in surgery. At age 60 this was my first bone break and first major hospitalization so I was very concerned about the outcome.

Dr. Reber was wonderful; very professional but also very compassionate and encouraging. He told me that I was his third ankle surgery that day. There is value in working with a doctor whose specialty is exactly what your problem is. I am pleased to relate that six months out of surgery I am walking without a limp or pain; in fact, yesterday I walked over a mile on one of the local hiking trails.

I have superb flexibility and mobility in the foot and ankle. In addition to the excellent surgical care and aftercare that I received at the Foot and Ankle Institute, Dr. Reber referred me to a first class rehabilitation specialist who also assisted in my recovery. The Foot and Ankle Institute handled all my insurance issues as well.

Without hesitation I recommend Dr. Reber for foot and ankle injuries. In fact recently I stopped a lady hobbling out of a medical facility and gave her Dr. Reber's card. She said that she had been working with another doctor for five weeks and he hadn't been able to tell from the X-Rays if her foot was actually broken but he had decided to finally send her for an MRI. She expressed to me that she was still having excruciating pain. I encouraged her that if she needed a second opinion she would do well to go to the Foot and Ankle Institute.
