Therapeutic Areas of Experience:
  Aug. 2001 - Feb. 2002 -- A randomized, double-blind, parallel-group study assessing the analgesic efficacy and safety of four dose levels of study medication (50 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg, 200 mg) compared to Ibuprofen 400 mg, Morphine 60 mg, and Placebo in patients with acute pain following orthopedic surgery (Bunionectomy).
  Jul. 2001 - Mar. 2002 -- A randomized, double-blind, Placebo- and Active-Comparator- controlled, parallel-group multicenter study of study medication and Naprelan in the treatment of post-bunionectomy surgery pain.
  Jan. 2002 - May 2002 -- A pilot study to evaluate the assay sensitivity of the SCIREX outpatient orthopedic bunionectomy pain model in a randomized, double-blind, day one comparison of the analgesic activity of a COX 2 inhibitor vs. a combination narcotic and placebo in patients with pain on post-operative day one following bunionectomy surgery.
