 The South Main Surgery Center is located in and attached to the Foot & Ankle Institute St. George office. The picture below is the entrance for both the clinic and the surgery center.
Once inside you will be greeted by our receptionists who serve dual roles for both the clinic and the surgery center. You will be asked you fill out any paperwork that needs to be finished, the surgery procedure will be reviewed with you, and you will be expected to complete payment for the doctor and surgical center fees. You will be billed later for the anesthesia.
If you need financial assistance to complete payment we offer the care credit program at http://www.carecredit.com. You can apply online and receive instant notification of your acceptance to the program. Care credit is a health care credit card that offers a 6 or 12 month payment program (depending on the total cost of the surgery). There is 0% interest as long as you meet the minimum monthly payments AND pay off the balance within the determined 6 or 12 months. Once your paperwork is completed you will be greeted and instructed by our surgical nurse and the nurse anesthetist. Please come dressed comfortably in loose fitting clothing, preferably shorts and a shirt. Keep all your personal belongings secured with a loved one.
You will need someone to help you get home after surgery. When you are in recovery, the nurse will call or greet the person assigned to pick you up and give him/her instructions. She will also help you get safely to your car.
